Dr Farooq Abdullah, former CM of J & K to grace and present safety culture awards
Sonamarg/ Srinagar, August 25, 2021: A two day nation meet on Safety Culture, Energy Conservation will be begin tomorrow at Snowland, Sonamarg, 80 kms away from Srinagar in Jammu Kashmir.
It is the Greenest ever Summit to be held in open air, in a make shift venue. Not much electricity or AC is consumed. It is organised in an open area, in the lap of nature, next to mesmerising hills, in the back drop of Sindh River and bubbling sound of the stream set against a spectacular blue sky. It is the conference to remember and cherish lifetime for its participants.
Organised by Delhi based Greentech Foundation, Leading Director’s Conclave will also be held in conjunction to the Safety Culture Summit.
A panel discussion on Leadership Commitment to Promote Safety Culture will be held. It will be moderated by Mr Ved Prakash Mahawar, Former Director Onshore, ONGC Ltd. Eminent experts from the industry will be the panelists.
Another panel discussion will be held on Energy Conservation. The delegates will deliberate on Best Practices for Adopting Safety as a Culture in Routine Activities.
150 delegates from across India and cross section of industries will participate. The delegates from organisation like ONGC, NTPC Ltd, Dalmia Cement, HPCL, IIM Rohtak, Steel Authority of India Ltd, Lupin Ltd etc are expected to participate and deliberate said Kamaleshwar Sharan, President of Greentech Foundation.
Awards for excellency will be presented during the occasion.
Shri Vjay Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Kashmir and Shri Dharam Pal, Advisor to Administrator, Chandigarh will grace and present awards on 26th August.
Dr Farooq Abdullah, Former Chief Minister and MP will be the chief guest and will give away Greentech Effective Safety Culture Awards at the concluding of the meet on 27th.
